Gamification is a buzz term in the industry, but it can be intimidating for most instructors to think about using it in their classes.

Join presenters from DePaul University as they introduce a variety of simple low-tech ideas you can use to incorporate elements of gameplay in your classes. This can be as simple as adding incentives to small, low stakes assignments, or as complex as creating an in-class simulation. This session focuses on specific ideas and strategies for adding elements of gameplay to your remote classes.

Ideas will include:

  • Game mechanics
  • Play
  • Common low-fi tech tools
