Duration: 1 hour
Presenters:

Scott Vann, EdD – Assistant Director of Digital Learning, UofM
Fair Berg, EdD – Instructional Designer, UofM

Description

Evaluating online courses doesn’t have to be complicated! At the University of Memphis, we’ve designed a course review process called GOLD (Guide for Online Developers) which aims to simplify and streamline the quality review process. Our review rubric, originally adapted from industry standards similar to Quality Matters, OLC Scorecard, OSCQR, and WCAG 2.0, has emerged as the GOLD standard on our campus. During this session, we will discuss our process for evaluating online course quality as well as how we implement these standards along the way.
