Wendy attended the University of West Georgia, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English, and has taught college English and reading courses for over 16 years in both the Technical College System of Georgia and the USG. Wendy enjoys reading, running, and hiking with her friends and her dog, Jax. Jason Wagner Courseware Application Developer at Wilkes University Jason Wagner is Courseware Application Developer in the Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning at Wilkes University, primarily working with APIs of Brightspace and other instructional tools. He has earned dual bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and computer science, and an MBA with a concentration in operations management. He is also adjunct faculty for computer science and business analytics, and a speaker in technology-related continuing education topics geared toward various profession. Gideon Sears Solutions Engineer at D2L Gideon Sears (they/them) is a Solutions Engineer at D2L, working with higher ed clients to develop innovative solutions to challenging needs. Their experience includes having been an instructor for nearly 20 years, instructional designer, corporate trainer, and LMS admin for multiple systems, including Brightspace. Amy Myer Academic Technology Support at SNHU Amy Myer is part of SNHU's Academic Support Technology team which manages communications related to Brightspace feature release and advises on its use to meet course design goals. She comes from a background inclusive of quality assurance, technology coordination, instructional design and software engineering.
